Kootenay is a purebred racing Siberian Husky who has retired to life as a pampered pet. She has wonderful piebald markings and warm brown eyes. Kootenay had spent some time in her mushers home as a special pet, so is settling in right off to life on the Island with her new foster family. She is a very gentle girl with zero prey drive. In fact the cats follow her on walks around the preperty :)
She will be an easy fit for almost any home situation, as long they as they understand the breed traits and that huskies often need more exercise, mental stimualtion and companionship with their packs (canine or human) than many other breeds.
